The Start of Summer?

Could today be the start of an early summer? It was a lovely day today. We went to Costco to stock up on chicken, mince, salmon and washing powder (and were also convinced to buy a block of Lorne sausage whilst there after trying (several) samples)! H had great fun riding around in the trolley, trying all of the samples - sausages, crackers and cheese, brioche and Nutella etc.

It was lovely weather so we were keen not to be stuck in a shop for the whole day, and H's Daddy decided we should have a barbeque. We visited H's Gran and Papa on the way home, then played out in the garden for a while. We came inside to watch The Grand National, and my each way bet came second!

By the time the barbeque was ready, it was getting a little bit cold, so we ate it indoors. H didn't nap at all today so was shattered by the end of a fun day. She had been on the go, running around for hours, and playing with the toys we took outside and set up on a rug in the garden, so she ended up having an early night, whilst me and hubby cracked open a bottle of Champagne. Bliss!
