Beautiful girl II

Today's photo is an (unintentional, but fabulously coincidental) update on the same time last year, when again we had wonderful, glorious weather- and Katie also had a wonderful new hat. It's been another lovely day and we've enjoyed the sunshine.

We went out first thing to get a few bits from a bigger supermarket, including finding a really very Katie dress (it came with a hat and a tshirt, it was therefore a bargain!) we looked for some other things but couldnt get them (including Katie sunnies)

We came home and stopped at the play cafe. Some friends were there and Katie was enjoying the ball pool a lot today. She ate quite a nice amount for lunch before we headed home for her sleep.

Soon as she got up we headed out for a walk in the sunshine (and to buy some nappies!) When we got back, our neighbours were playing out, they're 3 and nearly 1, so Katie had her first play out with her friends. She was very upset when they had to go and get their mummy from work.

We've been attempting to tidy up and get sorted. However Katie's had different ideas and decided today is the time to pull out everyrhing, of course :) She recently discovered Rosie and Jim on video (she found one, it had a duck on the box, she wanted it putting on). She loves it. Or should I say, she loves the duck and tolerates the rest of it to get more chance to see duck! Even when she's asked for duck on, the wriggling, climbing, exploring doesnt stop, so I don't mind her having occasional tv time!
