Friday: Back to Reality

After five lovely days in Rome, back to my local high street..........it does feel like a contrast.  Still, the sun is shining, the cats were delighted to see us, we are off to the pub tonight with friends, and there are more trips to be planned so life is still good!

And, of course, we have to come home to diet!  We have overdosed on pizza, pasta, and lots of mezzo litros (litri?) vino rosso!  We are walking round like little doughballs on legs.........in fact, gnocchi in human form!
