Ibis

When we travel out west, and see the variety of animals....we get to the point where we say, "Oh, it's just a deer".
That's how I kind of feel about the Ibis. I saw so many on this trip that they became sort of commonplace.
But, this little guy really got close to me and just stayed and stayed. So, Ivan the Ibis gets the blip over the pelicans and the herons and the cormorants.
It's a late night. Leaving Florida for home in the morning, and I don't even have my bags packed or the car loaded. For shame...For shame.
1400 miles and a van full of stuff. 6 a.m. comes pretty early. Good night and goodbye to the Sunshine State.
