Me and My Monkey

17 months 16 days

An up and down kind of night last night. She slept til 2 then was restless on and off til about 4. I put her back into her bed and she slept until 5.45 when she decided that was it, getting up time. She played nicely in my bedroom with the toys in there until about 6.30.

We still somehow managed to take until 10am to leave the house though. Playing, leisurely breakfast, a bath and three hours passed! She wanted to walk the duckpond way this morning. As we walked along the street, so did some of the ducks. I love watching her walk along with Monkey's legs swinging in her arm. Which is how we ended up with the blip.

She had fun at tea and toast. She played beautifully with Kiki. At one point, Emma had gotten into one of the baby cradle chairs and Katie got a coat and covered her up, Kiki stood rocking her and Henry was patting her like a baby. They were very cute!

A few of us went to the shop in the village to look at some things one mum had seen so Emma, Kiki and Katie were all playing with the toys and charming the ladies in the shop.

I took her home for some lunch, put her in the highchair with her plate. I turned round to make my own sandwich and when I turned back, she was asleep in the chair. I put her in the oct and she slept for nearly 2 1/2 hours. She's had a snack and now it's time for a bit of a walk in the impressive afternoon sunshine!

New words today have included clothes, dressed, shut and walk.
