Playday

A fun day today. We had our little friend Emma for the morning so we all went to tea and toast. There was a set of twins there (with their mummy and bigger sister) so I got cuddles with two very tiny 9week olds. Katie and Emma seemed on a mission to eat them out of toast today - Emma ate 3 slices, Katie ate 2 and both were begging raisins etc after that!

Katie and I walked home once Emma's mummy was back and had a bit of a play before she went down for her sleep. When she got up we packed up and went over to see our little friend Noah and his mummy. Noah was asleep when we arrived so Steph had an hour's crash course in life with a (highly) energetic toddler. Katie had a blast performing her full repertoire for her.

Steph woke Noah after an hour and the two of them were playing really nicely. Katie was trying to share her snacks with Noah, and Noah was pretty fascinated with poking Katie. Book by book, Katie brought nearly all of Noah's bookshelves down from his nursery into the lounge. At 4.15 Katie decided it was time to go home, said goodbye and got her coat!

At bathtime tonight, I was trying her wetsuit on her from last summer. She then decided she didn't want to take it off for her bath. As I tried to undo and remove it she was saying "No not. Splash". So she went in wearing a wetsuit. Which actually looks more adorable this year than last.
