Tree Box

Eve has cleared out her tray at school and brought home an assortment of pictures and arty creations.

I found this box under the sofa tonight - and was about to bin it when I turned it over I saw that she had decorated it with a lovely picture of a tree - and I found it really touching, a dumb old Ritz box rendered (fairly) beautiful by the addition of this deciduous print.

Love my girls - even though it's been a tiring day - after school we went to the park and after tea we made some Rocky Road cakes, did some cleaning and then a bit of a reading marathon!

On my own with them can be exhausting sometimes but life has never been better :)
