Cool to be Kind

It was parent's evening today - afternoon actually.

Had to tell the teachers that I was on my own with the girls now - strange because I have known them for years. But they were great and were understanding about what I can and can't do with the girls on my own.

Jeanne's writing is improving - she is trying hard to use her finger spaces and her maths is coming on a treat. One of the best comments in her PHSE books was that "Jeanne now knows all about Social Security and the Benefits System" Which made me smile as she's 9! I was really pleased to see she was writing well in Spanish...she kept that under her hat.

Eve, 6 has done some brilliant work and she is a pleasure to teach apparently! She did some lovely art work and this little picture caught my eye as something a bit special.

So proud of my girls - they've had a lot of upheveal and changes in their lives in the last 6 months and they are coping so well.

So tonight - remember "It's cool to be kind"
