book at bedtime

For a few months, the weeWeir has enjoyed reading (or at least hearing read) a few pages from this book each night.

A familiar story as it may be, I opted to only read a few pages each night in an effort to build suspense, but mainly to get her to just go to sleep!

Tonight, the weeWeir was very late in bed. A variety of reasons at play, which don't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Tonight was one of the *no goldilocks* nights. No book reading. Do not pass go and please collect your thoughts and go to sleep.

I find the book a rather interesting parable. Particularly this edition as the father bear character is very cross...

I should be clear that I love to read full stories with the weeWeir. Tabby McTat being current pick of the crop.
