s'gone

It's gone. It's not here. It's no longer in it's previous form.

Tonight at 8:30, there was a scone here. A homemade scone, no less. I wasn't here, but the scone was. I was at a church prayer meeting. I was absent from the scone.

When I got home, the scone was still there. But not for long. It was enjoyed with a smile and gratitude, and that was that. Until I realised it was to be my blip subject.

Why?

Because somethings are all about the present.

You can't eat a scone you saw an hour ago. Neither can you have an impact on a situation that hasn't yet happened or is long gone.
