mother's day

It's been Mothers Day in the UK today.

Yesterday, Beth and I planted some flowers for both my Mum and Mrs theWeir and this morning made breakfast for her coming in from nightshift at work. Gifts sorted then.

But perhaps the best gift of all was being out most of the day so that Mrs theWeir could sleep before going out to work tonight.

The flip side of being home alone again is that I got to spend a little time on the Wii without the risk of being laughed at.

Especially when I tried the skateboarding game on Wii Fit Plus. I am almost as bad at virtual skateboarding as I am in *real* life.

Still, nice to be active for a bit of an evening...
