Spring

A lovely day. We went to Lets Get this morning. She spent ages in the sensory area. We had some time outside, chalking on the floor, playing in the sandtray, and lots of time in the playhouse. We went back inside and played in the home corner too. She was also excited as we saw two cats at the window.

We came home and had some lunch before she began to flop, a bit earlier than I'd expect. She lay with her head on the cushion pile and just looked at me, so I took her to bed. She woke up asking to go out. When I showed her that it was raining, she wanted to 'go splash'. So on with the puddlesuit and wellies, out we trotted.

She did lots and lots (and lots!) of splashing. The splashing took us to the ducks, who she very excitedly said hello to. I had to convince her that it wasnt a good idea to go splash in the ducks water though. We went looking for some more puddles, before walking home down the high street. There were lots of people to say hello to, including her little friend Kiki. I even found her a pretty little top in the shop, before heading home to make some tea.
