Happy Mothers Day to all you lovely mummies out there in Blipland. I feel very lucky to have 'met' some really special mummies, who teach me a lot, about photography, about being a mummy, about so many things in life. Thankyou all for you friendship.

We've had a brill day. She only woke once last night, which is good as we've still been feeling the throwbacks from her getting out of routine when she's been poorly. We had a really lovely start to the day, just playing together. She gave me loads of extra cuddles, almost as if she knew.

We went to church and she went into creche. I had to go into her but got told she'd been really polite all morning 'ball please' then 'thankyou' and things. I was proud! The cousins presented her with a party ring after the service, left from sunday school so she was excited by that. We didnt stick around for coffee as she was tired and we wanted to head off.

We arrived at grandads and Katie was whisked away. Turns out she did some drawing a card and wrapping of a pretty plant and candle for me. We then all went out for dinner at a lovely hotel overlooking the sea. Katie troughed everything I put in front of her practically and was very impressed with the gorgeous trifle that followed - she even ditched her spoon and used fingers to do it faster. Across the restaurant from us was my aunt, uncle and cousins to our surprise and Katie spent lots of the meal waving and grinning at them.

After lunch we went to Playdale Farm. It's wonderful. Absolutely brillliant. Big feeding barn with goats, alpacas, horse, lambs, mule, pigs. There was a room with teeny tiny chicks, some very newborn. She loved the chickchickchicks! She got to feed, cuddle and stroke a 2day old lamb. There's a lifesize model of a cow that you 'milk'- she tried that. Then there's a massive barn full of strawbales built into a big fort. She LOVED that. Theres a huge outdoor climbing and slides - she was very excitedly exploring that. Another barn inside with softplay, climbing, tractors that we went in. We didn't go in everything today - there's also a massive sand play area. A barn of small animals. The paddock. Another play area and fulllsize tractor to play on. But she had a blast.

We went back for afternoon tea, followed by sponge and custard, which she was scoffing well too. Definitely a girl after her mummy's heart - loves the puds!

I'm very proud to be Katie's mummy. Every day she makes me feel the luckiest mummy alive. Love you Moo xxx
