The Old Girl of Sydney
Today we had a ferry trip over to Manly, what a great place with a really nice feel to it I felt quite at home there and upon our return found that there was some lovely views of the Sydney Opera House to be had. It?s a wonderful structure with amazing shapes and angles everywhere it really is a photographer?s dream I think I could have spent my whole holiday photographing it.
It got me thinking.......
What sort of warped mind could possibly come up with this design? Jorn Utzon was his name and he must have been some sort of genius but obviously with a screw or two missing and a complete hatred for the building industry. Can you imagine the face of the contractor when he first saw the plans, it doesn?t bare thinking about........I wish I had been there to capture it!!!
