Another Back Blip

Mr CleanSlate's birthday. Day off :-) Yay.

He had to go to the dentist in the morning, which whilst being a terrible thing for a birthday person, is an excellent thing for a birthday person's blip-crazy wife, who was able to take advantage of 2 hours in Manchester city centre with camera, gorgeous blue skies and no-one (specifically small rascal type people) to distract me. Someone from a Manchester Flickr group even stopped me, gave me his Flickr address and told me when the next group meet-up is??!? I guess the camera sort of gives me away. Not my usual style... I'm more into keeping a low profile usually :-)

Anyway, to Mr CleanSlate's amusement he found me near the Peace garden in St Peter's square grumbling under my breath about the pigeons mocking me!! There were a blipping million of them flying around and I sooooo wanted to get one of them in shot, flying across the town hall extension <twitches> I must have been there at least 40 minutes. Every time I put the camera down they just swooped right in front of my nose... honestly.... they were having the time of their lives. It's been about 36 hours now.... I'm chilled <takes deep breath> Anyway, this was the best I could muster.

Fab day though - True Grit at the cinema and falafel burger, wedges and Pictish brewery beer at the Knott Bar in Manchester <sighs>
