Tsunami

What a day. Woke up this morning to hear of the earthquake in Japan. Rushed to get hold of Adam by Skype to check he was ok in Tokyo. Thank god for the internet. Managed to have a long chat with him, check that he was ok, although very shaken - excuse the pun! His girlfriend's family live in Sendai, near the epicentre, so there was a long wait to hear news that they were ok.

He has now finally managed to get out of central Tokyo and is safely reunited with his girlfriend, Chisa. I hope the worst is over now, but I can't stop watching the news or surfing the internet.

It puts my trials with Maurice in perspective, but I will give you a quick update. I nearly caught him last night - he ate all the peanut butter - licked the trap clean, indeed - but still managed to escape and shut the door behind him! Who is this mouse!
