Book

My second-to-most-recent purchase (I got an old favourite for meles just today).
All in celebration of World (or maybe not) Book Day.
I love books. Yes, I also love my Kindle, but books as objects, literature, textbooks, hardback or paperback....

This one is destined to be a great favourite; not a field guide, but full of beautiful photographs, quirky stories and outlandish facts about the birds of Britain. For example, I just learned that most of the Plover's eggs sold to the posh London restaurants and posh houses right up till the 1970s, were mostly actually from the star of yesterday's blip :)
