The amount of stuff that people load onto their bikes here which they then go on to ride around bumpy roads fending off yapping dogs and weaving in and out of traffic gracefully and serenely never ceases to amaze me.This lady is selling everything you need to make a fresh and nutritious meal - meat, fish, vegetables ,eggs and even some bags of the very sweet sticky puddings(maybe not a wholly nutritious meal!) that are so popular in Cambodia. She and others like her cycle around all the back streets and lanes selling their produce to the home owners who come out onto the street (usually still in their pyjamas)for a chat and to get the lunch. There are many, many sellers like this who sell all different types of things from their bikes. My absolute favourites are the men who sell feather dusters, brooms and doormats They also sell balloons which are all ready inflated and attached to the back of the bike .These are presumably to keep the children amused whilst housework is being done. I also like the ox carts which set off from Kampong Chhnang(Kampong means port, Chhnang means pot) and then travel 100s of miles all over Cambodia carrying beautiful handmade pots for sale
