Having spent the first 18 months of retirement building our dream house, my wife and I are now taking time out to enjoy life and do some of the things we promised ourselves we would do. However, of late, volunteering has taken up more and more of our time and we have yet to find the right balance.
Photography was always on my list of things to do and the discipline of the Blip challenge proved a great way of making me set aside time for this hobby. I have learned much from fellow blippers in what is a great virtual community. While I enjoyed the 365 challenge, I no longer feel inclined to post daily entries. Instead, I much prefer to wait for inspiration and tackle something that helps improve my skills. Blipping my dinner, an object in the house or, worse still, a selfie is not for me!
I love the great outdoors, being by the sea and in wonderful countryside. Consequently, most of my pictures have been land/seascapes interspersed with some of the flora and fauna of this beautiful area.
