Low Tide at Waterfoot
I am totally fed up writing about clearing the house in Renfrew and I am sure you are just as fed up reading about it! Well, this has to be the last day as there is nothing left to remove and we hand the keys over to the solicitors tomorrow for the new owners to move in on Tuesday.
#2 son and his girlfriend crashed out in the house last might and I was tempted to blip them lying on the sofa having a quick nap before heading home to Edinburgh. However, it was good to have some help in removing the last items of furniture that were destined for the dump. Its really quite a waste as some was in good condition, but even charities won't take furniture away unless it has the necessary fire resistant labels!
Taking Mrs B out tonight to our favourite Chinese restaurant in Glasgow, which we have been going to for at least the last 20 years. Decided it was time to celebrate selling the house and mark our last night in the old house. As we head to Hong Kong on Thursday, its also a chance to get into the holiday mood and maybe get a recommendation of where to eat while we are there!
Today's blip, taken before we headed to Renfrew, is of some of the houses in Waterfoot. It was quite mild with mist in the glen behind the house.
Right, Chinese food beckons, time to go!
