Born in Edinburgh on 2 June, 1960.

Currently enjoying time off work, thanks to an early retirement package, which began on 1 April, 2013.

Prior to this date, I worked as both a photographer and graphic designer in the public sector for nearly 37 years. The disciplines covered during this period were Science, Agriculture, Forensics, Public Relations and Marketing.

It is my intention to return to work as a self-employed photographer. I'm comfortable with my technical ability, but feel my creative side needs to be developed further. Hence the reason for signing up to Blipfoto. I believe there is a challenge in there for me for doing so.

I'm looking forward to seeing how my journal unfolds.
