A long-term lover of photography, I'm returning to the craft after an absence of about 25 years (gulp -- getting old, now ;-) ).
I'm hoping that some of my former skills will not have deserted me in this digital age, and that those that have can be restored whilst I improve any that had the foresight to remain, and develop any new ones needed...

OK, so what am I about?
I currently spend most of my working time designing, building and testing electronic stuff - mainly for the railway signalling industry. Add to that a bit of web development work, and some technical proofreading and that's my work covered.
Leisure-time activities? ... well... I don't seem to have had much of that this last 12 months, but hopefully, that'll change now. I like nature and the countryside, I like to walk (but don't get enough chances to do so), I enjoy a wide range of music from Folk to Classical to Rock, and I read a lot. If all goes to plan, I should be able to update that list to include the words: "... I do a lot of photography..." before too long.
