I've managed to get to this ripe old age without ever filling in one of these 'about me' boxes and am only really doing it now as I'm thinking it won't actually be read by many, if any. 

So.... I'm a retired Art teacher with two daughters (and two sort of sons in law and a collection of grandkits and a grandpoo)  and a very wonderful husband who I don't appreciate anywhere near as much as I should. We also have cats (only 2 now - the least we've had for around 30 years), a dog who is also getting on, just like us, some sheep and a couple of hens. I have been vegan for the last 4 years and wish wholeheartedly I'd done it sooner. 

I love reading, all things art, drinking - especially gin and collecting (all sorts of miscellaneous chat).

I've found I've become a bit of a recluse since this bloody pandemic and am not sure when, if ever, I'll go back to venturing out as freely as I used to.
