I was 10 when my parents gave me my first camera...a Kodak instamatic.
I've been taking pictures ever since ,recording life and sights that please without coming to grips with the technical! Pathetic, I know,but Tarawera Times is a wonderfully encouraging friend and neighbour on the journey.
My parents taught me to " see" the world around me and my mother taught me to sing . I have sung all my life and a few years ago retired from a baroque choir after almost 30 years of life-changing joy.
Besides a love of music, I love my garden,my family and the pursuits in my stitching cave.
