A full Sunday

I started on the leaf blower for an hour, followed on for another couple washing down outside windows. Dr D rebuilt a wood pile that had collapsed at one end...it had been built by an inexperienced volunteer (with a PhD)!
Mid afternoon we enjoyed a visit from Dr D's son and his wife who are hoping to visit the South Island in a week or two...covid permitting and Dr D had written up a long and detailed guide for them with our inside knowledge  of the beautiful inland route and Central Otago.
A little stitching has ended the daylight hours... a little embroidered and appliquéd cartouche (designer Lynette Anderson) for the outside of a bag and embroidered flowers which will become covered buttons to secure its handles. The friend for whom it is intended has a beloved golden labrador named Sebastian.
