Just a girl taking a picture a day and trying to do better.

I started with a "December Daily" challenge in December of 2011 just for kicks because my new iPhone took such good pictures that I thought it would be fun and easy. That led to a "Project 365+1" group where the photos were so amazing I was inspired to dust off the Nikon and carry on with my picture a day.

I have been through quite a bit in the last year and this year is the first year in a long time I am doing things that make me happy and I am excited to document it. I have learned more about my camera and photography in the last two months than I have in the 4 or 5 years I've owned it.

I am inspired by the talent I have found on blip and look forward to learning from you all and about you all.

I hope to look back at picture 1 and be proud of how far I have come.
