Registered horticultural therapist, educator and amateur photographer working and residing in Portland, OR. I work with older people and teach horticulture at our local community college. I'm passionate about plants and flowers and am developing an interest in the creatures that exist in my garden. You'll often see various bugs and insects in my photos.

I've always been fascinated with the camera, starting in high school with a Miranda SLR and my own darkroom. Many years later I'm getting back into it although I never really stopped taking pictures. Now I use a Canon EOS 77D and still use my iPhone on occasion....update January 2020...I'm enjoying experimenting with my new iPhone 11 Pro...it takes pretty good photos!

Now retired from jobs that I haven’t talked about here…I’m discovering what adventures lay ahead. Travel, gardens, plants, grandchildren and of course Blip!
