Another Sunflower

Oh heck, I couldn't help it....this one just sings summer doesn't it? Gosh I love sunflowers and I was quite liberal with the seed in early April...so I have many of all heights. The tallest, I think, must be about 12' - so looking forward to the goldfinches coming to feast!

Spent the morning grading and working on the botanical garden, and the afternoon with my sweet parents. Took my mom for a walk in her wheelchair and we rested on a park bench for a few minutes and enjoyed the lovely afternoon air. Such precious moments.

Take the time to enjoy the people you love, and even those you don't. These are strange times and being present and being kind is so important.
