Finding a purpose for my photography.

A remark from a friend about the challenges and fun of Blipfoto has set me on a photographic journey. Having taken numerous photographs over the years I needed to direct my efforts.

I travel extensively and have taken some marvellous shots but it has been a case of being in the right place at the right time. Lots of luck.........an amazing scene in Antarctica of huge icebergs or a young Buddhist monk playing football in Bhutan, how could you go wrong!

I want to work through the year to improve my photography and above all have fun!

I still enjoy taking photographs after 5 years, particularly when I am travelling. A recent photograph taken in Vienna at the Hotel Sasha, a difficult choice......
