Moved to Orkney in 2013 after falling in love with the island and it's ways - It was 'home' from the moment I set foot here. I also fell in love with someone very special...the move has been very good for me.

My plan to escape the rat race, the shopping centers and the traffic. The switched off people who have long forgotten what is actually important. The pollution, the over population and the damage this causes. The insanity.

To live and love and breathe in those big open skies... Even if that means almost suffocating in gale force winds whilst the rain bores holes in my eyeballs. I'll still be smiling.

Blip has started out as a bit of a record of that whole journey and will hopefully stretch way beyond. I am hooked. I'm no photographer but I do like to be creative and challenge myself.

I also like to walk, surf, cycle, ride, carve, read, cook, smile, drink, laugh, explore, be cheeky, dance, act my shoe size, love, live, care, experience ...and just be a decent, genuine person really. That's pretty much me in a paragraph.

My shoe size is 5 and three quarters.
