Fan(nying about)

DDW's March 2014 Challenge Day 14: Equitant = A flat fan-like arrangement (as in certain leaf patterns on plants)

We woke to wind and rain and My Beautiful Porridge Wog offered to walk the dogs...i didn't accidentally grab another quick snooze under the warm duvet...honest, Guvnor ;)

I had another training course today so after a week of foot aching early shifts, I had a very welcome lay-in. Also an early finish of 1.30...Just what I needed :)

Then to the shoe shop to get shod with some nice, sensible and comfy Clarks shoes which will hopefully keep my feet from aching. I remember being a kid and dreading being taken to Clarks for sensible shoes.

Then on to the afternoon dog walk and I managed to avoid any showers...Other than showers of mud as the dogs sped past me. I got a bit distracted by the 'fanlike' aspect of the meaning of Equitant and snapped this beautiful sycamore helicopter.

All week we have been looking forward to Friday - The night when the fish and chip van visits the local carpark. It was delicious.
