I'm just a part-time single busy working mummy of two who loves to take photographs of anything and everything.

Originally from Bonnie Scotland, after much traveling, I am now settled with my little family in Wiltshire.

My passion for the frozen image stemmed from using my brothers Leica when I was 13 and continued when I was given his old Olympus. All my old film photography was in Black and White. I love the mono images of the 50's and 60's of the a listers, such as Marilyn Monroe, Jimmy Stewart etc.

I've titled my journal as "Mummy on a Mission" as that's what I am. My mission primarily this year is to run my first marathon, despite being a seasoned runner I've avoided the full marathon for years. Secondly, my mission is to record a photo a day, while improving and learning, to provide a lasting digital record for my children. Social media is the future journal and my contribution will hopefully one day enlighten my children I'm not just a nagging mummy!And finally, after rediscovering my ability to write, my mission this year is to endeavour to have my written word published.
