Mummy on a Mission

We're Going on a Flower Hunt

An odd day today, where I seemed to visit several parks in the local vicinity.
A trip to Devizes park this morning to feed ducks, buys some flowers and play boules, but it started to rain so we went home as we were very inappropriately dressed. Little Miss E wasn't happy with that decision though and expressed her disapproval in the only way she can at the moment....SCREAMING!

However.... on returning home...I couldn't get into the house! New house key had fallen off car key while out. Drama ensued as I had to get in feed kids and back out before viewings on the house started, with me trying to force my son through the conservatory window, to no avail. Aha! Estate agent has spare key! So leave munchkin 1 to plant a few flowers (kerb appeal) and I hot foot it to town, get key and back home with Little Miss E screaming for water. When I get into house, munchkin 1 already in house!!! The little wotsit grew some cahunas when I was out, and dived in the window. And...to make it worse the key was under the car seat all along when we went back out later!

As the estate agent is doing the viewings we had to make ourselves scarce this afternoon, so off to Lacock to another park and our favourite ice cream stop.

I took quite a few snaps today, but I liked this one the best, even though it's taken with the Granny Smith, of Little Miss E when we went on a walk round the field at the back of the house, hunting for wild flowers. We had lots of fun blowing wishes from the thistles. Needless to say, I made a lot of wishes!

I liked the ominous sky in the background, which still lingers now. Let's hope we have some rain for the garden!
