So, where to begin? Well...I'm Mark and I've just recently relocated from Dunfermlime down to Newcastle. I joined blipfoto with the good intention of starting a photo diary but have been on poor form with the updates or so far.

The only problem with a photo diary in the past was having to cart around my chunky DSLR when out and about. However, I've had a pretty decent smart phone with a surprisingly good camera for a while now. As I pretty much have that to hand 24/7 I now have no excuses for the lack of posts.

I've been into photography for some time and now have thousands of photos stored on my PC that, despite best intentions, the majority of which never see the light of day.

I like to think I'm a dab hand at Photoshop, however for the purpose of this site I'll try to minimise the manipulations and keep the photos as true to life as possible (other than monotone). Well there is no time like the present so let the story begin....
