I became interested in photography when I was very young & in Girl Scouts. My interest peaked in high school when I was chosen one of the school's yearbook photographers. There I also learned to develop & print my photos. Fast forward the having my first child & living in Germany at the time. My parents & my in-laws of course wanted to see their first grandson, where we lived, the countryside etc. I did not have a 35mm camera until about 1975 when my husband got me one for Christmas !
From then on it's been basically non-stop picture taking. My first love was photographing children....mine, my friend's kids, perfect strangers kids. Then I discovered the wonders of a macro lens & how the close-up inside of a flower held so much more than what the naked eye sees. My love affair with cameras continues with my Canon Rebel Which I hope I do not wear out.
