I was born in the North East of England in 1955 in the small fishing town of North Shields about 9 miles down river from Newcastle near the mouth of the Tyne. I moved around the country finally settling in Kent, the Garden of England in 1989.

My interests are; Cruising, Reading and Photography usually with an Olympus E520 DSLR.

I have run my own small taxi firm for nearly 5 years and having recently upgraded to an iPhone4s then reading an article in the SAGA magazine about blipfoto decided to combine the 3 elements of photography, my business and my new iPhone to begin a daily diary of my working life.

I initially thought it would lead to a lot of duplication of places such as airports, seaports and rail stations but then I considered the number of interesting towns and villages I pass through as well as the quirky situations I encounter during my travels. As the business is a 24/7 affair the photographs could be taken any time throughout the 24 hour period which could add an extra element to the interest.

I intend to take a few pictures each day and then upload the most interesting one of the day to my diary. Although I am interested in photography, other than maybe a bit of croping to frame the shot, the pictures will be uploaded 'as taken' which will in turn help me improve my technique with the iPhone with a possible knock on effect to my DSLR.

I am looking to make the magic number: 365.
