Hi! My name is Kat, and I live on the shoreline in Connecticut in the United States. I am a 39 year old single Mom with two amazing children that I love more than anything. I have a 22 year old son named Kevin who lives in Boston. I am exremely proud of him, and he is my best friend. I also have an 20 month old baby daughter named Riley who keeps me busy and makes me laugh and smile every day! I know...two kids...twenty years apart...hahaha.


Photography is my therapy. Well, photography and music, I should say. They keep me sane, and without it, life would be a mistake. Taking pictures became something a little more than a hobby when I packed up my son, then about 11 or 12 years old, and went on tour with one of my favorite bands, The Misfits, doing their stage photography and promo. I've also done photos of bands like 30 Seconds to Mars. Those were some of the best times of my life.

These days I can be found either acting completely goofy and having lots of fun with Riley, or out and about with my sister Kim and my nephew Jack.

My other two passions are animal rights/rescue and fighting for the release of the West Memphis Three. Until they are free, nobody is free.

Since the baby takes up so much of my time and energy, I dont usually have a lot of time for detailed write-ups in my journal, or commenting on other peoples photos...though I do try to comment, because there are some really amazing photographers here in the Blip world!!
