Born and raised in South Africa, I have been living in England for 13 years. My parents were born in Glasgow and immigrated to South Africa after they got married. My father served in the Royal Air Force and worked on the ships at Clyde Bank. Both my parents still live in South Africa.

I live in Sussex which is one of the most beautiful counties in England. It's on the south coast, quite rural, with lots of countryside. I feel lucky to live in Chichester which has some of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in England. It also has a 900 year old Cathedral.

I studied Graphic Design, and part of our studies included photography, so I've been taking pictures a long time. In the last 10 years it's something I've neglected. About a year ago, my partner Marcus bought me a digital SLR so that I could get back into it.

I take my dog Sasha for a walk everyday and we go to some truly gorgeous places. Looking for a picture for Blipfoto will give me something else to think about and do on those walks.

I do enhance and crop my pictures in Photoshop but I don't like set up shots. I'm a fan of natural unposed photography. Blipfoto is really going to help me focus. I'm going to become more aware of the type of photographer I am and want to be, as well as discovering new things that I can do.
