Living in Northumberland since April 2015 (after almost 25 years in West Yorkshire and a few years in the Scottish Borders) with my husband MrM, who makes the most beautiful stringed instruments, and our ancient dog, Louie.

Loved taking photos since I was given my first camera as a teenager and, several decades later, still enjoy photography. Very much an amateur of the point-and-snap variety, though!

Having failed - many times - to keep a written diary, Blipfoto is my pictorial journal – documenting the day-to-day, the highs and lows, the special events and the humdrum.

Apologies in advance if I don't comment much or reply to comments very quickly. Life is chaotic and usually very busy – outside of work I help MrM with the instrument business, I'm a slightly mad Morris dancer and a keen gardener
