My name is Saleem Tosih Ahmed. I have lived in Connecticut for the majority of my life. I am currently studying photojournalism in Philadelphia. Photography has been a passion of mine for a long time, and I just love capturing my surroundings through my camera lens. My favorite type of photography would probably be nature, however I am constantly experimenting with other aspects of photography. Photography brings out my creativity, and I want to share it with anyone and everyone that is interested. As I continue to travel the world and explore my surroundings, I encounter wide varieties of people, places, and cultures which I want to share with the rest of the world.

After seeing a good friend of mine continue his own picture of the day website, his site,
i was inspired to try something new, fun, and easy to help improve my photography skills and to get an understanding of life in general. I hope you all enjoy my photos :)

You can see some of my favorite photos on my own website. Since this is a completely new experiment for me, I am going to shy away from photos like that.

My main camera is my Canon EOS 400D, equipped with a Sigma 28-300mm and a Canon 18-55mm lens. Recently I have been messing about with my dad's old Olympus OM-10 film camera and I have purchased a Canon EOS A2 film camera. For the Olympus OM-10, I use a 50mm and a 35-200mm lens.
