I had an unconventional-ish childhood...technology was sparse and my brother and I were raised on a farm prefering ultimately to be outside as opposed to inside watching the box.
Time and technology has moved on and now I have two children of my own, I want them to have the same carefree days I had...baking apple pies with my Grandad on a Saturday, helping in the farm shop, planting and harvesting vegetables. Luckily for me the family farm is still going and although I have moved out of the homestead, I haven't moved far and I hope my children enjoy and appreciate the simple things in life like climbing trees or collecting wind fall apples, whilst keeping the technology at bay as far as is reasonably possible!
Here's to a childhood like mine!
