I started blipping a) to fill my life with more interesting things (poor work/life balance) and b) because I was badgered by an ardent fan and user.

I lived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from July 2013 to September 2015. After that UK based in Cambridge but with lots of travel starting in Indonesia followed by a focus on South Sudan and other varied travels including to Liberia and Mozambique. In 2018 I moved to Mozambique and in 2022 my job shifted to predominantly Tanzania with travels back to Mozambique.
