A lover of animals of which I have 3 cats Mr Wiggles & Babyface who are brother & sister who were neighbors cats but decided they liked us better and we have taken them in. We also have a stray female cat named Whiskers who showed up in our back yard and never left. We have since taken her in to and she now lives in our garage away from the other cats. We have started letting her inside while they are outside so from 6:00pm-10:00pm it's Whiskers time in the house where she gets plenty of rubs and she is with people and noise instead of in garage. We leave the door open but she won't leave except for a walk around the house and back in garage. She can't seem to climb she was injured in some way and no one has picked her up because we are all afraid to get scratched because she has done this to me but we hope in time to win her over enough to be able to pick her up one day but for now it's plenty of lap sits and petting her and she loves to do kneading and plenty of purring.
I love taking photos and I have apps I like to use to enhance them in some way. I mostly use my iPhone but sometimes one of two cameras I own.
I love music and I always have something playing if I'm not watching one of my many shows I record on DVR.
It's me my husband and 3 grown sons in one big house.
Most of all my Blips are of my cats but occasionally I'll throw in a non cat photo.
Update 2015 Whisker passed away in September she had FIP and was very sick in the worst stage of it hard to breathe etc. so she was put down sadly it was very devastating to us all because we had thought she was pregnant. It will be two years ago this September 2017. In January 2016 we rescued a cat we found in our neighborhood when my boys and husband were on a nighttime walk around a big block where we live. We tried to rescue it that night but it was to hard it kept running away each time so one of my sons and I returned the next morning but after a hour in the hot sun we gave up. It took a week before we would trap her in our cat carrier and at that time there had been some rain. We thought we would never see it again but again on another walk my sons heard a meow in the same area we saw it last it was a late night walk again and they discovered that the cat was up in a tree but it came down and my boys ran home to get the cat carrier and some meat to lure it inside on a last ditch effort to rescue it and it worked after some fast actions on my sons part. It's a miracle it lasted a week where it was the cat was by a busy street and coyotes are in our area as well as other creatures that could of easily harmed it. We took the cat to the vet and found out it was a girl and that she was about 3 months old a kitten and was very sick with respiratory issues and had lost her voice. She would meow but no sound would come out. It took her awhile to get better so we couldn't expose our other two cats to her and till this day no friendships have formed but they are aware of each other. We made her a indoor cat only so while Mr Wiggles and Babyface go outside during the day and come inside for breaks and sleep inside at night we keep them separate and so far it works well. Her name is Figaro because she reminded us of the cat from Pinocchio. She does not like to be held but I am the only one who picks her up and it lasts for 30 seconds or less she does sleep with me while watching TV once in awhile and at night she sleeps with us in our bedroom and before I left on a trip she would sleep with me or by me but not no more which makes me sad but she does do kneading on me so that makes me happy. My son (the cat whisperer) is her number one I'm second. I hope as she gets older she will be more loving and her tiny wild streak will go away. If she don't get her way or you need to pick her up fast you will get bit and scratched. I will be adding photos of Figaro now along with Mr Wiggles & Babyface.
My son continues to help stray and homeless cats and small animals by bringing them food in the evening. They are so cute they sit there waiting at the spot for him to come bring much needed nourishment and water and they each take turns so cute! So far 2 to 3 cats a raccoon a skunk and a tiny fox eat from the plate.
