I am married, have one son and am from Yorkshire. We have been living in Spain for some years now and still enjoying the good life here. We have a little dog we rescued 10 years ago called Holly.
I go to Pilates and am Secretary of our local Short Mat Bowls Club.
I am new to "proper" photography only having done "point and shoot" to date and am looking forward to some improvement.
December 2015
Year two and I have upgraded to a new Camera, A Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX72 - a Bridge Camera. Hopefully some improvement can be seen soon. It has been a great first year, surprised at how differently I look at the world and things around me. Met lovely people on Blip, looking forward to another good year.

Blipfot continues to surprise and delight, although I do not Blip every day, sometimes I don't have time and others, I see nothing which I think is of interest. So I don't put pressure on myself to Blip for the sake of it.
August 2019
A few years since I updated, in those last few years we have sold our apartments in Almerimar, Spain and moved to Northern Spain for the winter and returning to our Static Caravan in Scarborough and have thoroughly enjoyed the change.
However, ill health struck my husband Alan in December 2018, he was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer which came as a total shock to us. He underwent the first part of his chemotherapy in Spain. We cannot express enough our thanks for the excellent service and treatment received there. At this time our little dog Holly became ill and it was clear that, whilst she may have struggled on for a further six months, I could not cope with both of them so unfortunately the difficult decision was taken to put her to sleep. It has not been the best time for us.
However, we moved back to England to be near our families, which is great, but we do miss Spain. Alan is now having the second part of his treatment and again, the service is excellent and much easier to understand. So there may be some gaps in my posts due to other pressing matters.
