I am a former teacher of visual and media arts in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Now being retired from 41 years as a teacher I plan to throw myself full time into my artwork. My intention is to capture images of my city that I will use in my multi media compositions. As I live in the downtown core of the city it is rich with urban energy and offers so many opportunities to capture it. While I have a Nikon D7000 I also like to carry a Nikon J1 with me that I am constantly just walking and capturing images with.

As a fotoartist, I use the digital image as a starting point for exploration and feel fine with manipulation of the digital information. From photo to image.

Technology has allowed the use of "photography" to grow in many directions and digital is meant to be remixed, mashed up etc.
