Retired public school music teacher/central office administrator living in the southeastern USA, Atlantic coast the last 8 years. My wife and I enjoy the sun, sand, surf and local cruisine. Having played music professionally since university days, I am recently retired from the Long Bay Symphony but still free-lance with them and jazz bands in the area as well. We are blessed with good health, good friends, and a wonderful area in which to live.
My wife and I have a special interest in this wonderful blipfoto site with its base in Scotland. We are both of Scottish heritage. My wife's parents were born in Broxburn (mother) and Hamilton (father); my father near Glasgow. Someone in my fathers family when immigrating to America (many years ago), claimed to be from the Little Minch/Big Minch areas on the west coast of Scotland.
