I am from Cologne in Germany, but since about 10 years I am living in Bavaria, close to lake Chiemsee and the Alps. This is the area where most of my pictures are taken.
By chance I heard from Thorsten van Overgaard about blipfoto and joined immediatly. I like to share my fotos and to get feedback on them.

During the mid 80´s of the last century I started my first experiences with an analog SLR. With the first digital cameras I started again. As an autodidact I learned much faster than during analog times.

I love photos about people and the ordinary life.

My favorite is street and reportage photography, mainly in black and white.

The wording "a picture tells more than thousand words" is always a target. Looking at a photo should start a "Kopfkino" (I did´t find an english translation, but the meaning is, to start a cinema in your head).
