I live in the Belgian countryside but my heart's home is the Philippines, archipelago of my affections. I originally joined Blip to give faraway family and friends a chance to see what life is like over here. Since then it's also become a marvelous way for me to discover more of the world.

Photography encourages me to look closer and live slower. I use a Panasonic Lumix GF1 with a pancake lens and a 45-200 telezoom. I shoot using available light and have no idea how Photoshop works. Yes, there are a few of us dinosaurs left. All my images are straight from camera. The only thing I do to them is the occasional crop.
