An absolute beginner who had no camera when l first started on here, soon put that right and bought a point and shoot which l loved.
Upon retiring from teaching in October 2015 l upgraded to a Nikon D5200 so on a huge learning curve.
Think there is a special moment when l put the memory card  from the camera into my iPad and see the magic or disaster of each day's photographs! Sometimes the camera sees what l haven't and sometimes what l see isn't conveyed by the camera.
I was long time married to my soulmate Mr P until May 2020, have two wonderful grown up children who along with their partners have provided me with five amazing grandchildren.
I live in a beautiful part of the world: the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Am also lucky to be near two rapidly changing old industrial cities as they develop and evolve. 
Met nothing but positivity on Blipfoto since joining making real and virtual friends and intend to stay around here for a long time.
