I have always liked photography but when my husband left me after nearly 23 years my divorce present to myself was a Canon EOS400D with a couple of lenses. Keep promising myself to go to college to learn how to use my camera properly and how to use photoshop ! I get hours of joy from it and starting my own journal on here actually makes me get out most days.

I love macro shots and when I can afford a macro lens that's my next treat for myself. I also like taking pictures of people when they are not posing - I know we all have to pose sometimes but the best people shots for me are when they are caught unawares!

Never go anywhere without a camera !! Drive my family crazy but photo-books make great presents. They are also a great way of capturing memories !
